10-29-2011 - Animals in Pens not counting toward Quests when harvested

Description:
Harvesting animals required for Task completion in FarmVille quests is not counting toward those quests when the animals are placed in pens. This includes Tasks that require you to simply harvest the animals, as well as those that require the earning of Animal Mastery stars.
Status:
This is caused by an issue with the animal pens preventing the quest animals from counting toward a pen harvest. The FarmVille team is currently working on a solution for this problem.
Workaround:
Prior to a hotfix that will repair this issue, you can leave the animals out of your pens and harvest them on your open farm for Task completion and the earning of Animal Mastery stars. After our hotfix, this should no longer be necessary. This Known Issue will be resolved at that point, you can watch it to know when it is OK to put them in your pens.
If you find your issue in this section, please refrain from creating additional threads unless otherwise specified in the description of the Bugs listed above.
